  Squirrel Net Redux
Turns out I did "capture" a squirrel in the attic. I can hear him up there but he cannot get out...which probably means that none of his buddies can get in...which was the point.

Now, I just have to wait for him to die...not a happy thought but it would be the nature of the thing.

Hopefully, he has not stored a bazillion nuts in my attic and can wait out the siege.

I would like to get the extra insulation in this winter.

Comments:
How will you know when s/he is *ahem* gone? You could see about renting a trap from a animal control company or something. The Humane Society rents cat traps, but I don't think the squirrel would be heavy enough to trigger it.

I am not pleased with killing the squirrel in such an inhuman way but I also believe that he is rather mean and I do not want to get squirrel cotties.

I am hoping dehydration gets him soon.

I'm wouldn't be so terribly concerned about the killing as the waiting around until the smell told you it was dead. Kinda eeeew.

Said squirrel is part of my breastfeeding gang. IT is me, Charlotte, the stupid cats, and funny noises from above in the middle of the night. If something happens to him, it will make middle of hte night feedings less interesting.
