  The Screw

I thought that you all might like to see the screw that was previously inside me. You cannot tell from this particular angle but it is a stainless steel self tapping screw.

From this angle you can see that the screw is a hex drive. I can just imagine the surgeon in the OR with a cordless Bosch drill and a rack of hardware to choose from.

I'm still amazed that this thing was inside me.

Comments:
That is longer than I imagined. Makes it totally understandable that it would be bothering you to walk on it. Miss you!

I'm sure the surgeon's have some fancy-schmancy allegedly special medical drill with a super-sterile disposable hex-bit that costs thousands and thousands of dollars. Those medical device companies have such a great scam going (cough)Stryker(cough).

It is cool to see, but I'm glad they got that out of you. You don't want to take a humanity hit for such a non-functional cybermod.

True. I am going to hold out for a better cybermod. Maybe those telephoto eyes that I've always wanted.

We miss you guys too.

Try autoclaving at Bosch drill at 500 degrees some time... ;)

Wicked looking screw though. Do you konw who made it?

Autoclaving? Is that how you chase the bad humors off the drill between patients? That's a good point.
